Many say that Jasad was formed in 2000. But actually Jasad has existed since 1990. With the initial formation Yuli (bass, vocals), Faried (drums), and Tito (guitars).
In 1992 member changes occurred in the formation of Jasad. Faried came out replaced by Abut (drums), and entered Hendrik in the position of vocals. In this second formation Jasad managed to release a demo tape containing 2 songs recorded live. Namely "Life n Die" and "Fuckin 'Education".
In 1994 Jasad's line up has change again  Tito, Abut, and Hendrik were out. They were replaced by Yayat Achdiyat, Yadi Behom, and Dani Papap. With this third formation, namely: Yuli (bass), Yayat Achdiyat (guitars), Yadi Behom (vocals), Dani Papap (drums). In this formation Jasad has released demo tape Suffering of Mankind,  and then Jasad managed to release a mini-album entitled "C'est La Vie" released by Palapa Records in the format cassette.

Jasad again underwent a line up formation change. In 1998 Yadi Behom left and continued Yayat Achdiyat also came out a year later, now became a music director / sound engineering Burgerkill. To fill the void, Man (Injected Sufferage) and Ferly (Forgotten) were recruited in the position of vocals and guitars. In this fourth formation Jasad grew up as one of the influential death metal bands in Indonesia, successfully releasing their debut album entitled "Witness of Perfect Torture" in 2001. The album was released by Rottrevore Records in CD and cassette format, which was later re-released by a US label, Forever Underground Records in 2003. In the same year, 2001, Jasad also released a cassette demo entitled "Ripping the Pregnant".
Still with the same formation of the Yuli, Dani, Ferly, and Man managed to release a second album entitled "Annihilate the Enemy" which was released by one of the famous labels from US, Sevared Records. The album was released in CD format, and for the cassette format was released by Rottrevore Records. In 2015 the album was re-released and reposted by "Obscure Musick" from the US.

Formation this fourth Jasad lasted for a decade. In 2011 Jasad was forced to make a change of formation because Dani Papap had a severe accident. To fill the void in the position of the drum, Jasad opened the audition and was elected Abaz. With this formation Jasad re-released their third album titled "Rebirth of Jatisunda" in 2013. The album was released in CD format by one of Indonesia's senior labels, Extreme Souls Production. In the same year the album was also re-released by a label that had released Jasad's second album, Sevared Records.
To increase the banging power during a live performance on stage, Jasad recruited a new member to fill the position of guitars 2, namely Reduan Imanuel (Demigod) in 2015. Lapse of a year later, namely in 2016 Jasad's formation changed again with the release of Abaz. To fill the void in the drum position during live, Oki (Stigmatuary) is recruited.
